Welcome to singularity’s first iron chef and also it’s first public appearance.

You may ask yourself who we are in the first place so to clarify from the beginning, singularity is a not so known movement, representing creation, exploration and reliability (basically a new main team).

Our IC is the basic 3 days IC you're used to but with a major twist and let us show you why!

Participation

You will need to participate with someone, creating a team of 2.

You choose a category, your partner a different one.

Name your team, join the discord server made with 1 week before the ic start and you’re settled in.

We will not hesitate to send an invitation to participants that are doing good in this IC!

You can do collabs, minimum video length for everyone: 1:50

Submissions

After the IC ends, send your amv on the site with the title and the category you joined.

But how should I send the amv?

Send a download link to mega.nz for it (for making sure you’re all settle, you can name the file with the title and category as well).

No, you can't use any song in any category, the packs will be good and you won't need to do that.

Judging

Because you do not know us yet, two of the judges will be from other teams and one from Singularity.

The ranking system will not be secret and anonymously so you can see exactly why you took that place and not make a drama afterwards.

Here is the ranking system explained so people actually understand what they’re joining.

AMV - Originality - Flow & Editing - Category - Total Average

Originality – how creative and original your video is, the story or the concept, the amount of randomness etc.

Flow & Editing – how good can you make the video in terms of flow and editing, the "aesthetic appeal" in certain categories like Romance/Drama and Dance/Fun might play a major role in the pointing system.

Category – how much your video fits in the chosen category, if we watch the AMV and we need to read the title to figure out what the category your AMV is in, you might find yourself with lower points here.

(Judges) Average – the points you will see in the Originality, Flow & Editing, Category are judge’s average points.

(Total) Average – the total average points accumulated from the 3 judges.

Ranking & Prizes

The ranking will be pretty basic. One solo ranking per each category and a team ranking, based on the total points both of the partners accumulated.

The major prizes will be:

30$ - 1st team

20$ - 2nd team

15$ -3rd team

Dates & Riddle

This is where the funny part comes in!

The IC starts on 25th April 20:00 GMT+3 and it ends on 28th April 00:00 GMT+3.

We will release the song packs in a winrar with a password and the password will be released when the IC starts so everyone has basically 3 days to edit BUT the winrar is hidden and can be found with 1 day before it's given.

Finding the winrar won’t be easy but sure worth it, giving you an extra time of editing that the rest of the competitors will have to wait.

The “riddle” will be posted 1 day before the IC starts (24th April, 20:00 - GMT+3) on the IC discord server.
